More than 100 firefighters were on the scene of a two-alarm fire on Washington Avenue early Wednesday morning.
According to the deputy fire chief, flames broke out at around 5:30 a.m. He says squatters were living in the abandoned house, but no one was injured.
Officials were able to contain the blaze before it spread to neighboring homes.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
