A firetruck crashed on its way to a four-alarm fire in Bensonhurst Wednesday where at least five people were hurt, none of them seriously.
The fire sparked at a home on 63rd Street around 3:15 p.m. First responders say four firefighters and someone inside the house all sustained minor injuries. Crews also saved a woman's cat from inside.
Authorities say the house was undergoing renovations, and there was work being done on the second floor, where the fire started.
About 200 firefighters responded.
