First responders rescued a construction worker who fell 25 feet into a trench in Williamsburg this morning.
The incident occurred at Bedford Avenue and North 4th Street at around 11:30 a.m.
EMS officials say crews had to use a ladder, rope and a basket to get the man out.
The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition. He is expected to survive.
