What's better than ice cream on a hot summer day? News 12's Natasha Geigel set out to find a healthy treat to help people cool off in the heat.
She caught up with Shake Box's Christian Luzuriaga, who offered a fresh fruit sorbet recipe that is healthy and easy to make.
Luzuriaga says that almost every frozen sorbet available in stores has preservatives that companies put into their products in order to keep them fresher for longer periods of time.
He says that they diminish the health benefits of essential vitamins and minerals.
He says that from start to finish, the dessert takes about four minutes to make.
