Former City Council candidate arrested in relation to Jan. 6 US Capitol breach

The U.S. attorney for D.C. says Mitchell Bosch faces felony and misdemeanor charges, including assaulting law enforcement.

A former City Council candidate out of Brooklyn was arrested and charged with crimes related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021
The U.S. attorney for D.C. says Mitchell Bosch faces felony and misdemeanor charges, including assaulting law enforcement.
The FBI arrested Bosch Wednesday in Brooklyn.
Bosch was a candidate in the 2023 race for City Council District 37 but terminated his candidacy.
More than 1,300 people have been charged in nearly all 50 states for crimes related to the breach.
