The former Soundview Health Clinic has opened its doors under new management.
After nearly three months without a neighborhood health center, thousands of Soundview residents can now visit the Stevenson Family Health Center in the same location. New president and CEO Neil Calman says most of the staff members have kept their jobs.
The embattled Soundview Healthcare Network was shut down in May following the conviction of its founder, former state Sen. Pedro Espada Jr., for embezzlement.
