Thrifty Brooklyn shoppers can score great deals on clothing and housewares -- and even get a free HIV test.
Out of the Closet on Atlantic Avenue in Fort Greene may look like an average thrift store, but tucked in the back behind the clothing racks is a full-service pharmacy.
Shoppers can even swing downstairs and get a free blood test. The shop provides STD testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea, HIV testing and hepatitis C screenings.
The store donates 96 cents from every dollar made to the nonprofit AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which supports those free medical services.
Out of the Closet has 20 locations throughout the United States.
