Four flight attendants, including one from Brooklyn, have pleaded guilty to smuggling drug money across international borders to the Dominican Republic, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Brooklyn resident Emmanuel Torres, 34, and three others all pleaded guilty to a charge of operation of an unlicensed money transmission business, which carries a five-year prison sentence.
All four attendants had Known Crewmember status, which allowed them to pass through security lanes at airports.
Sentencing for Torres and the other flight attendants is set to take place in January.
