407ds agoThe free summer meals program kicked off across New York City today. All you need to do to get a free meal is show up.
Officials says you do not need to register or show ID to get one of the free breakfast or lunches. The meal hubs are open Monday through Friday, starting today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The meals are all grab and go, meaning you cannot eat them on site. News 12 was told vegetarian meals are available at all the locations. There are kosher and halal meals available at some of the sites - but not all. Click here for more information on the program.
