A Bensonhurst staple has been bringing homemade Italian foods to all parts of the borough for more than 30 years.
Chef Steven Digesaro first opened Ravioli Fair as a pork store back in 1978. His raviolis have since been devoured by thousands.
While Digesaro no longer has a pork store, he still focuses on his authentic cuisine from his 16th Avenue kitchen, where he gets in at 4 a.m. each day to make a variety of raviolis, from traditional cheese to broccoli rabe and even lobster.
Digesaro also has a food truck on the Canarsie Pier, and has just opened a store in New Jersey.
