The Tamra Teahouse on Bergen Street has been open for a month, and it already has a steady stream of customers seeking its healthy food options.
It offers a blend of Latin and Asian flavors, according to chef Yunha Moh.
Offerings range from basil chicken to vegan butternut squash curry and avocado toast. The noodles are handmade in-house in a hybrid of the Korean and Japanese styles.
It's named after the Tamra region of Korea, which used to be its own country and is now called Jeju.
