Funeral services were held Saturday for a 14-year-old boy who was killed two weeks ago by a driver on a street near his home in Canarsie.

Christian Antoine’s family says he was running errands for his father at the time of the fatal crash.

Rayan Salmon was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Many classmates and staff from his school attended his funeral. His family tells News 12 that the loss has been the most difficult thing they have ever experienced.

“He was the sweetest little brother you could ever ask for,” said his sister Eudayna Guichard.

His family says they want the world to remember him as a sweet boy who had dreams of becoming a chef and a doctor.

Antoine will be laid to rest at Canarsie cemetery.
