A funeral was held Friday for a man shot outside of a Brooklyn bar while responding officers allegedly waited inside their cruiser as he was dying.
Robert Fason, 44, was shot and killed after a dispute outside of a Brooklyn bar on June 30.
Two officers who responded to 911 calls of shots being fired were later suspended for allegedly not getting out of their police cruiser while Fason lay bleeding on the ground.
Fason's family has filed a lawsuit against the city and wants to know why Officers Lisa Lovell and Roberto Anton did not act appropriately.
Police are looking for three men accused of shooting Fason.
