Funeral Mass held for former Hauppauge fire chief who died during drill
The 49-year-old died suddenly last weekend during a drill with the Suffolk County Urban Search and Rescue Team.

4h agoFamily, friends and fellow firefighters said their final farewells Saturday to former Hauppauge Fire Chief Stephen Feron.
A funeral Mass for Feron was held at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church in Hauppauge.
The 49-year-old died suddenly last weekend during a drill with the Suffolk County Urban Search and Rescue Team.
Feron was a second generation Chief of Department, serving in 2018 and 2019.
