A teen boy who was caught in the crossfire of a shooting earlier this year is one step closer to getting a prosthetic eye.
Gamma Droiville, 13, was hit in the eye by a stray bullet while waiting for a bus in April. Gamma says he considers himself brave for surviving the shooting.
His father says doctors placed a device in his right eye during surgery last week, which will help the prosthetic move better.
He says his son will receive the new eye in six months.
