High gas prices are deterring some Bronx and city residents from traveling for the holidays.
"I'm not gonna travel for Thanksgiving," says Bronx driver Ricardo Dixon, who canceled his Boston travel plans. "Gas prices are too high."
According to New York Gas Prices, gas prices in the Bronx currently range from $3.25 to $3.39 per gallon. The borough's most expensive gasoline can be found at a BP filling station in Riverdale.
The price at the pump went up 13 cents in the last two weeks, according to a Lundberg survey. AAA says if crude oil prices stay high, gas prices could hit $4 per gallon in the future.
