A vacant Grand Concourse building is about to become an important part of the community as a local grocery store is set to open up.
The building at 1775 Grand Concourse has sat vacant for about five years, but thanks to a new owner and a new tenant, will become home to a local supermarket.
Construction officials say that the storefronts should be open by the end of the year.
