A group of emerging artists is using their talent to showcase diverse stories and tap into their emotions.
The group known as the “Gun Hill Six” joined forces last March and is led by artist and Bronx art teacher Robert Berardi.
"A lot of diverse voices had never had their chance to save their peace and tell their stories so I’m hoping we have a chance to do that and inspire others to do that as well,” said Robert Berardi.
The artwork will be on display starting on Friday, Nov. 10 at the group’s second free art expo at Bronxlandia from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
News 12's Heather Fordham sat down exclusively with the artists as they prepared.
