Anti-Semitic notes were reportedly found on the streets of Bay Ridge Friday morning.
The notes were reportedly handwritten and found along Third Avenue between 75th and 95th streets. However, police tell News 12 Brooklyn that they canvassed the area and found no notes. The NYPD also says it hasn't received complaints or reports of the notes. The Hate Crimes Unit will not investigate until there is hard evidence or a witness.
Meanwhile, Councilman Vincent Gentile says he has been working with the 68th Precinct and the Bay Ridge Jewish Center to get to the bottom of the notes.
