WHAT’S NEXT: Near-record highs Tuesday. Hazy, hot and humid feel for one day only. Cooler Wednesday.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says Monday will be hot with highs nearing 90 degrees.
MEMORIAL DAY: Mostly sunny and very warm. Perfect BBQ weather. Moderate risk of rip currents. Highs near 87, 70s at immediate coast. Muggy night, lows at 74.
TUESDAY - HEAT ALERT: Hazy hot & humid with plenty of sun. Highs up to 95 (record is 96 from 1939). Feeling like near 100, 80s at immediate coast. Cooling down at night to near 68.
WEDNESDAY: Sun & clouds, cooler behind a backdoor cold front. Highs struggle to reach 80, could be even cooler. A few showers possible at night. Lows down to 63.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and an afternoon thunderstorm. Highs near 82. Lows down to 64.
FRIDAY: Morning clouds, an isolated shower early. Otherwise, turning sunny. Highs near 77. Lows down to 59.
NEXT WEEKEND: Not too bad. Comfy conditions with sunshine and 70s for highs. Lows near 60.
