HEAT ALERT: Sunny and warm for Memorial Day with temps reaching 90s in New Jersey

NOW: Comfortable humidity levels for now, seasonable overnight.
NEXT: Ridge of high pressure builds in and heats us up into Tuesday.
LATER: Monday near 90 interior New Jersey. Hotter for Tuesday with highs in mid-90s. At this time humidity is up but heat index doesn't look excessive or long enough for heat advisories.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michelle Powers says there will be sunny skies and high temperatures as conditions get hotter on Memorial Day and Tuesday.
FORECAST:
Monday - Memorial Day: Mostly sunny and hot. Highs 87-92.
Tuesday: Alert day for heat. Mostly sunny, highs 90-95. Late storms overnight will break the heat.
Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Cooler highs around 80.
Thursday: Sun and clouds, passing shower. Highs upper-70s.
Friday: Will be a repeat of Thursday with sun and clouds and a passing shower.
Saturday: Mostly sunny and nice, highs 75-80.
