Heavy rain and downpours are making Friday's morning commute difficult for many around the borough. 

Drivers are urged to use caution during the morning commute.

According to the National Weather Service, rain and thunderstorms are possible Friday with rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch.

Scattered showers will last between 12 and 2 p.m. and there is a possibility for a thunderstorm before 12 p.m.

Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. 

Clear skies are expected Friday night as lows dip down to the upper-50s.

Saturday and Sunday are expected to be sunny with highs in the low- to mid-70s.
