Damien Henry, on trial for the attempted murder of a New York City police officer, was acquitted on an attempted murder charge Wednesday.

Henry was found not guilty of firing an Uzi at two police officers outside a Flatbush nightclub in 2006. However, the 27-year-old was found guilty of second-degree weapons possession, which could result in up to 15 years in prison.

The defense argued that Henry was set up by police and bouncers. Some jurors said there were holes in the prosecution's case.

Henry is currently serving a 25-year sentence for firing a gun in a Brooklyn restaurant in 2005 after being told to stop smoking.
