‘Howl-O-Ween’ party aims to unite people with adoptable furry friends
Windsor Terrace street was taken over by dozens of animal lovers Sunday for the 12 annual Howl-O-Ween Bark Block Party.
Despite the weather, dozens came out to support the animal adoption event and fundraiser that aimed to help unite people with new furry friends.

The event featured music, prizes and food - and lots of potential pets looking for forever homes.
The event was organized by Sean Casey Animal Rescue, a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter. The goal was to get people to come out and enjoy Halloween-themed festivities, including a kids and pets costume contest - and maybe even bring home a rescue pet.
Organizers say the event has helped hundreds of pets get adopted over the years, helping clear the shelters and save more lives.

Organizers say another part of the event was education, including teaching people about how to properly care for their pets, when to take them to the vet and how to keep more animals out of shelters.
