Hundreds gathered in Bed-Stuy Friday to pay their respects to rapper Pop Smoke.
Pop Smoke, a rapper who grew up in Canarsie, was killed last month during a home invasion in Los Angeles, California. The 20-year-old was on the rise in the rap industry -- best known for his hits "Welcome to the Party" and "Dior."
Smoke's friends tell News 12 he was the same person off the stage as he was on it.

With music and prayers, they joined his family and neighbors overflowing the Cornerstone Baptist Church to honor the young artist. Fans lined the streets waiting for hours to pay their respects.
While he's no longer here his friends tell News 12 they know he will never be forgotten.
