Hundreds of Israel supporters were in Brighton Beach Sunday for a peaceful rally.
The group chanted, sang and held signs in solidarity for Israel, saying they are saddened by the violence.
The local rally is just one of the many being held around the U.S. as fighting continues in the Middle East.
A cease-fire is in effect in the Gaza strip, but the Israeli military says it will respond to any attacks.
