At least 2,300 people took part in the annual Turkey Trot in Prospect Park on Thursday.
The Prospect Park Track Club has been organizing the five-mile race for 16 years.
Families and solo runners compete in the run. Some participants even wear Thanksgiving-themed costumes.
Those who participated say it's a good way to get their metabolism going before Thanksgiving dinner.
The trot raises money for the club to support youth and adult running programs in Brooklyn.
