Hundreds of people came out to Marine Park Sunday to walk to help find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
Walkers laced up their sneakers for a one to three-mile lap near the Carmine Carro Community Center, trying to bring attention to the deadly disease.
Many shared stories of losing loved ones to the disease, which is the fourth leading cause of cancer deaths in the country.
"I lost my grandfather within three months of being diagnosed," says Matt Neftleberg, of Sheeshead Bay.
All of the money raised at the walk will benefit cancer research.
