A Hunts Point strip club will reopen this week after being temporarily shut down for hiring unlicensed security guards.
The owner of Club Heat was in court Monday, reaching a deal to get business running again on Friday. The club is required to hire licensed guards, check all patrons for illegal drugs and guns, and check in with police in the 41st Precinct to address community concerns about violence.
Since opening in October last year, several people have been shot outside the club, sparking outrage from many local leaders.
