The Macy’s on Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn is set to close Sunday.

News 12 previously reported the announcement as part of Macy's "Bold New Chapter" strategy, which aims to streamline operations by focusing on stronger-performing locations and enhancing both in-store and online shopping experiences.

Over the next three years, Macy's plans to close 150 underperforming stores while investing in its top 350 stores nationwide.

The company says it plans on closing 66 stores across the country by the end of the year, and another in Brooklyn in Sheepshead Bay. The store is offering sales to clear out remaining items.

It’s unclear what will take the Macy’s place.
