IHOP celebrated National Pancake Day today by giving away free short stacks to raise money for charity.
In exchange for their free pancakes, customers were asked to consider leaving a donation for the Children's Miracle Network and other local charities.
The IHOP on 174th Street was one of more than 15,000 participating locations nationwide and was fully staffed in anticipation of hundreds of customers throughout the day.
The pancake tradition started in 2006 and since then, IHOP has raised nearly $8 million in support of charities throughout the country.
