The NYPD has arrested a suspect linked to a hate crime that took place in late May in Brooklyn.
Police have arrested 60-year-old Orlando Cruz for allegedly assaulting an 18-year-old man in traditional Jewish garb in Bed-Stuy.
Police say Cruz walked up to the 18-year-old and said, "I'm going to get rid of all you Jews" before attempting to punch him.
Cruz missed, and then proceeded to push the victim to the ground before taking off, police say. The teen was not physically hurt.
