A spontaneous community pond full of goldfish in Bed-Stuy has become a neighborhood attraction, bringing in visitors from across the country and raising money.
The pond has grown dramatically, and now people are raising money through a GoFundme to keep the fish alive and spruce up the pond.
The pond is just $100 short of its $2,000 goal. Organizers of the pond say they're loving all of the new faces and even saw a family come from North Carolina to see the attraction.
"Keep them fed and give them things to burrow underneath as they like to do... it's about bringing the people together," said Malik Lovick, who helped start the pond.
News 12's Rob Flaks spoke with people who came in from out-of-state to check out the pond.
