Police have identified the 66-year-old woman who was found dead with multiple stab wounds inside a Flatlands home.

According to police, first responders were dispatched to 1070 E. 56 St. at around 3:16 p.m. on Aug. 20. Officers found Claudette Jones, the 66-year-old woman, unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds on her body.

EMS pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

It's unclear what led up to the incident at this time. Police say at this time no arrests have been made, but sources tell News 12 authorities are questioning a family member.
