An Ivy Preparatory School League rivalry landed on two fields Monday with Brooklyn coming out on top.
Horace Mann School left The Bronx to take on Poly Prep in both baseball and girls lacrosse. Pitcher Jesse Roth struggled on the mound, facing 20 batters with six walks, two hits and seven runs.
The Lions ultimately got shut out by Poly, 10-0. The Lady Lions made an attempt to split the day, but fell 18-8.
