Actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jamie Lannister on the HBO series "Game of Thrones," came to Williamsburg Tuesday to referee a women's soccer tournament for charity.
Both of his daughters played.
Each of the teams represent one of 17 United Nations "Global Goals" -- topics ranging from gender equality to climate action to universal education.
"Soccer is the biggest sport in the world, and it kind of washes away whatever background you have," Coster-Waldau says. "Whether you're rich or poor, whatever country you're from, you can just enjoy the sport."
Also on hand for the tournament was the princess of Denmark.
