The medical staff at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Wayne celebrated Thursday the discharge of a patient who was hospitalized for 130 days with COVID-19.

It was a big moment for 57-year-old Richard Chirico and his wife after a long journey.

Chirico was intubated for 45 days and spent 29 in rehab to gain his strength back.
