Kean University to apply in-state tuition to all students starting next fall

Currently, in-state tuition for a full-time undergraduate student is about $15,300 for one year. For out-of-state students, it is more than $24,000 per year.

Kean University announced it is trying to make college tuition more affordable for students.

The school’s Board of Trustees approved a plan to apply the in-state tuition rate to all undergrad and graduate students starting next fall.

Currently, in-state tuition for a full-time undergraduate student is about $15,300 for one year. For out-of-state students, it is more than $24,000 per year.

Kean is considered to be the most affordable university in the state.
