Parents can get their younger kids vaccinated at Walgreens beginning Saturday, but spots are filling up fast.
Select spots, such as the Walgreens location on Prospect Avenue, will start offering Pfizer vaccines to kids ages 5 to 11.
Parents were able to start making vaccine appointments for their little ones Friday, with the Walgreens app or by calling 1800-Walgreens.
The Department of Health tells News 12 that parents can also take their kids to the city’s walk-in vaccine sites.
Parents are encouraged to check the vaccine finder daily as more appointments are added and to check in with their child’s pediatricians.
