Three Kings festivities could be found across the Bronx Saturday, including a show and toy giveaway in Castle Hill.
Three Kings Day was officially on Friday, but the festivities are set for the whole weekend. It’s a holiday celebrated 12 days after Christmas, recognizing the three wise men who brought baby Jesus gifts after he was born.
Assemblywoman Karines Reyes hosted the event, where kids could get toys, have their faces painted and watch a reenactment of the story of the Three Kings.
"This is for the community and is important because we have some who have left their homes for this, and I'm here to give back and give them that little taste of home again,” said Reyes.
