Performing arts was introduced to children in The Bronx today through a fun family festival. The "Summer Stage Kids" festival was held at Van Cortlandt Park. Activities included story-time and music, and the kids also learned the importance of respect and creativity in the performing arts. The program offers kids more than 95 free events throughout the summer in 36 different parks citywide.
