A group of kids spent Wednesday decorating get-well cards for ill children in the hopes that it will lift their spirits.
The Jewish Children's Museum on Eastern Parkway teamed up with SUNY Downstate Medical Center for the museum's "World of Good" gallery. Under the interactive program, kids decorated cards that a nurse will distribute to pediatric units at area hospitals.
"I think it's wonderful for children of different faiths, different cultures," said Maria Yomtov, of SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
Children who receive the cards will also get a gift donated by the museum.
