Brooklyn's second annual Kosher Restaurant Week is underway.
Chagall Bistro is one of 24 businesses participating in the event. It is offering a $55 three-course prix fixe menu, which includes a glass of wine.
Palace Cafe, on Nostrand Avenue, is a fast food restaurant that is offering 10 percent off customers' entire bill. The restaurant is known for its homemade pizzas, salads and pastries.
The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce put together this new tradition. It says the week is the perfect way to make people of all cultures aware of the diverse foods in the borough.
Kosher Restaurant Week runs through Saturday night.
