The L train began running between Brooklyn and Manhattan on weekends once again Saturday.
For the last two months, service had been suspended.
The MTA shut down the L train between Lorimer Street and Eighth Avenue for several weeks of repairs beginning in April.
Business owners say the stoppage hurt weekend sales. 
Straphangers say theyare thankful the work is complete.
