The filming of a new television series has turned a Bronx neighborhood into a production set, and many are not happy about it.
?Life on Mars,? a show set in the 70s, had NYPD tow patrols remove cars from the street and placed safely in lots nearby. Residents are calling the parking situation a nightmare.
Other residents say in addition to the poor parking situation, production itself has become a problem. Resident Roberto Ossorio recently called the 50th precinct to complain about the loud and disruptive production crew that arrived in the early morning hours.
Street closings in the area have also made it hard for students to get to schools and worshipers to get to the local synagogue.
