A Brooklyn man is suing American Airlines, claiming that the carrier misplaced his deceased wife for four days.
The body of Teresa Olaya was supposed to be shipped to Guayaquil, Ecuador on April 1, but she ended up in Guatemala. Husband Miguel Olaya asserts that the airline had the wrong shipping code.
Due to pending litigation, American Airlines has declined to comment on the situation.
