Loved ones paid a visit to the scene of last week's horrific Bronx River Parkway accident to honor the seven family members who lost their lives.
In support of their coworkers and the husband of one of the victims, a trail of livery cab drivers made their way onto the parkway Sunday, honking their horns seven times for the victims.
Jacob Nunez and Ana Julia Martinez, who were visiting from the Dominican Republic; their daughters, Maria Gonzalez and Maria Nunez, and three grandchildren, ages 3, 7 and 10, all died on impact when their vehicle went over a viaduct and fell more than 60 feet into a ravine.
The family members and the state Federation of Taxi Drivers also called for traffic safety changes to be made on what they called the parkway of death.
