The Bronx District Attorney's Office says a man was arraigned for allegedly beating another man and strangling him to death at the Van Cortlandt Park-242nd Street subway station.

Keith Plummer, 68, of Queens, is accused of attacking the man with his bare hands around 3 a.m. Wednesday. He is charged with manslaughter.

The NYPD says officers found the victim unconscious and unresponsive after responding to a 911 call for an assault.

Plummer allegedly punched the victim multiple times before grabbing him by his neck and applying pressure, causing his death, according to court documents.

The man was pronounced dead at New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital.

Authorities have not released the victim's identity as of Thursday evening. They say they have reached the victim's family to notify them of his death.

Plummer's bail was set at $200,000 cash/$600,000 bond.

He is due back in court on Monday.
