Police say a man was attacked inside his Bushwick apartment, marking the second home invasion in Brooklyn in less than 24 hours.
Officers were called to the scene at Evergreen Avenue and Eldert Street just after 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The NYPD says two men forced their way into a 33-year-old man's apartment, displayed a knife and punched the man throughout his body.
The assailants did not remove anything from the man's home, police say. He denied medical attention at the scene.
Police sources tell News 12 the men wore black face masks and black hooded sweatshirts. The NYPD did not confirm if there was a connection between the two home invasions.
