Police have arrested a man in the fatal weekend shooting of a Fordham shoe store employee.
James Jackson, 44, faces murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon charges for allegedly shooting Tim Kim, 17, twice in the chest and once in the head.
The incident occurred Saturday at an Athlete's Foot at East 188th Street and the Grand Concourse after police say Jackson was asked to leave the store. Authorities say Jackson returned with the gun.
Kim remained brain dead at St. Barnabas Hospital for several days before being taken off a ventilator Wednesday. Kim was working as a manager at the time of the shooting.
